Community Education Coordinators

The Community Education Coordinators Initiative is part of our commitment to ensuring equitable access to CT Paid Leave for all eligible workers in Connecticut.

About the Initiative

The Community Education Coordinators Initiative (CECI) was launched in 2024 with the purpose of increasing outreach and education to communities and workers across the state of Connecticut.

Community Education Coordinators are non-profits, community organizations, and service providers that provide culturally sensitive and language specific support to workers who face barriers to accessing CT Paid Leave benefits.

Community Education Coordinator activities include:

  • sharing information about CT Paid Leave through workshops and events
  • providing one-on-one application assistance to workers applying for benefits
  • developing and distributing effective outreach materials in relevant languages
  • providing feedback to and collaborating with the CT Paid Leave Authority on community engagement and outreach
